Taking the old hot rod statement “There’s no Replacement for Displacement” to heart, we went to work and developed a new 3.5L stroker kit for the 2JZ. Increasing the factory displacement by .5L to increase low end torque and horse power and reduce turbo lag. Using one of our Titan Motorsports True Billet Crankshaft designed for our 3.5L, we increased the stroke by 10mm to 96mm, increasing the displacement to 3.5L. The Titan Motorsports 3.5L Billet Crankshaft also features a 1.88″ rod bearing which allows a wider range of bearing options as well as a larger variety of bearing materiel availability over factory sized Toyota bearings. The Billet Crankshaft is complimented by Custom Titan Motorsports / CP Pistons in 87mm bore, and Custom Titan Motorsports / Carrillo H-Bream connecting Rods with Upgraded Rod Bolts both built to our specifications. The recommended maximum RPM limit for this kit is 9,000 RPM when combined with proper camshaft selection and a lightweight valve train.
Titan Motorsports 3.5L 2JZ Stroker Kit
This weekend Palm Beach International Raceway was a busy place with FormulaD, Slammed Society, and Global Time Attack all hosting events at the track. We were on hand supporting our good friend Jon Miller with his brand new Scion FRS, the first to enter Time Attack competition here in the states. Just prior to the event taking place we installed a set of Hawk Blue Pads and performed a brake flush on the car, beyond that the car remained primarily stock and was entered into the Street RWD Class. The car handled great and logged as many laps as any other car out there, however it was outgunned on the long straights by cars with 2-3 times the horsepower output of the bone stock boxer power plant and just missed the podium finishing 4th.
The car show was a testament to the dedicated fans of FormulaD who braved the scatted thunderstorms that peppered the track throughout the day. Our good friends at HRE brought out an amazing Ferrari F458, Audi R8 V10 and their latest wheel releases and finishes.
FormulaD put on an amazing event, the course change from last year made for plenty of action and great tandem battles. We where rooting for our local friend Chelsea Denofa in his M3, who eventually lost to event winner Daigo Saito after colliding on an insane entry. I was quite impressed with the SC430 of Saito (and the smoke screens he was leaving his chasers in),powered by a 3.4L 2JZ which uses nitrous to help keep the turbo spooling quickly during transition.
The event was a great success and the changes PBIR made to the track allowed for an increased number of grandstands that were packed most of the weekend. I’m a huge fan of drifting and with each successful event I attend I begin to wonder when one day those internet rumors of us fielding a team will become a reality, only time will tell.

Here in the sunshine state we’re blessed to have a great weather year round that results in many professional race teams calling Florida home. One such team that’s local to us is Alex Job Racing, who fields top cars in both the Grand Am and the ALMS series. AJR needed to do some baseline tuning on their cars and brought both their 997 Porsche Cup Car and Lotus Evora race cars by to strap them on our Dynojet 424 LC2. The cars were in the middle of being serviced between rounds and were naked of their body panels allowing us to see the great engineering that goes into the purpose built road racing cars. As with all professional race teams the final numbers will be kept a secret, but it was great to have the team at our facilities and the beautiful soundtrack these cars provided to start our day.

For over a decade we’ve been developing parts to help drivers reliably increase the horsepower in their Toyota Supra. To help make sure all that power gets put to the ground we’ve developed our own Titan Motorsports clutches kits for the MKIII and MKIV Supra. Combining experience gained from our in house tuning department and data gathered from our drag race program, It has allowed us to develop a clutch that offers superior holding power with improved drivability.
For the MKIV Supra, we currently have kits in 2 available configurations, a Street Clutch and a 6 Puck Sprung Aggressive Clutch. The street clutch kit is designed for cars equipped with factory turbo chargers or smaller single turbochargers and will handle 485lb/tq. It offers smooth engagement with a slightly more aggressive pedal pressure for consistent pedal feel. The 6 Puck Sprung Disk clutch kit was designed for mid frame and larger turbochargers and is rated at 620lb/tq. The 6 puck Sprung clutch design will offer better heat dissipation in high horsepower applications, with an more aggressive engagement than the street disc. For the MKIII Supra a single offering of a 6 puck Sprung clutch rated at 500lb/tq is available, which is also compatible with 1JZ engine combinations. Our Titan Motorsports clutch kits are compatible with the OEM Toyota dual mass flywheel, as well as many lightweight aluminum and chromoly aftermarket flywheels. We are expanding our clutch line in the coming months, with these being our first releases.
Titan Motorsports clutch kits include a clutch disc, alignment tool, pressure plate and all necessary replacement bearings.

After months of development and testing at the track, we are pleased to release our new Titan Motorsports adjustable front control arms for the MKIV Supra. These tubular chromoly control arms are a direct replacement over the factory units. They feature dual barrel adjusters, for quick adjustment, race proven heim joints and spherical bearings.
Dual barrel adjusters with FK Rod ends replace the factory rubber bushings and allow for quick and precise alignment changes at the control arm. Caster and camber changes can be made by simply by loosening the jam nut, inserting a standard 1/4 ratchet into the end of the barrel adjuster and turning to lengthen and shorten the length of the rod end. Shortening or lengthening the rods independently allows for and a range from factory settings all the way up to 5 degrees of camber and over 10 degrees of caster.
The factory ball joint is integrated into the control arm, requiring the complete arm to be replaced when these reach the end of their service life. These control upgraded arms address this issue by replacing the factory ball joint with a more durable spherical bearing which can be serviced independently.

Titan Motorsports is proud to introduce its performance oil pump for the Toyota 2JZ engine. Titan begins with an brand new OEM Toyota Oil pump and performs a complete disassembly and inspection prior to upgrade. The factory tolerances are verified and any imperfections are deburred for precise fitment. The pressure and feed sides both receive exstensive porting to improve increased flow and to prevent cavitation. When completed with the modification the pump is pressure cleaned before being reassembled to factory specifications and painted black for improved aesthetics. No core exchange is needed for this process as all pumps start with a brand new unit that is factored into the retail price of $399.00.
