Titan Motorsports Porsche 996 997 Harness Bar

Titan Motorsports bolt in harness bar for Porsche 996 and 997 models is produced utilizing 1.50“ Chromoly and is CAD designed for a 100% bolt in installation, requiring no permanent modification to the vehicle. As avid track day enthusiasts with our own Porsche 911s, we wanted to create a bar that allows for safe harness mounting while still providing access to the rear seat area for convenient storage of gear and helmet bags for drivers who chose to drive their cars to the track.

Produced in house by our team of fabricators, the initial bar design is completed utilizing CAD. Precision cut chromoly tubing is then sent to our computer aided mandrel tubing bender before being placed in a vehicle specific fixture where it is TIG welded. The rear portion of the cage is joined to the main hoop utilizing specifically designed interlocking clevises allowing easier installation and shipment.

The standard bar features integrated strut tower mounts and cup car style gussets in the X-brace, providing additional support and improved aesthetics. For vehicles equipped with the Bose sound system from Porsche who would like to retain their factory subwoofer, select the Bose equipped bar which moves the rear attachment from the strut towers to the rear seat belt location.

All bars are powder coated for a durable finish in your choice of 4 standard colors (Matte Black, Red, Gunmetal, Metallic Silver), custom colors available for an additional $250.

Titan Motorsports Extra Deep Sump 2JZ Oil Pan Upgrade

The Titan Motorsports Aluminum Oil Pan upgrade is a great solution for those looking to increase the oil capacity of their 2JZ. This hand fabricated lower pan is produced from .125″ Aluminum and increases the factory capacity by 1.5 Quarts. The OEM cast upper oil pan remains intact and a modified pickup is included in the package to compensate for the enlarged sump. This upgrade is a great option for drag racing, circuit driving, drifting and high-power street builds not needing the expense of a dry sump retrofit but would like the peace of mind that comes with a larger capacity oiling system.

Titan Motorsports MKIV Supra Clutch Master Cylinder Upgrade Kit

The Titan Motorsports clutch master cylinder upgrade kit facilitates the bolt-in upgrade to a race-grade Tilton master for the 1993-1998 Toyota Supra. The Tilton master cylinder kit is designed with racing clutches in mind and offers a larger bore size than the factory 5/8” unit which gives the driver a more consistent pedal feel through the entire range of travel.

This kit is offered with your choice of 2 compatible Tilton Master cylinder kits in either ¾” or 7/10” bore size. We typically recommend the ¾” for Tilton clutch kits or factory style single disk clutches without a heavy pressure plate. The 7/10” bore size is a great option for those with multi-disc or clutches with a heavier pressure plate. This kit is a completely bolt on affair that requires no custom fabrication and can be removed and returned to stock at any time.

Titan Motorsports Crank Damper Version 2

In 1998 when we first contacted ATI about creating a crank damper for our 2JZ, we never imagined the engine would be pushed to the levels seen today. Our race engine at the time produced power levels in line with most current mild street builds, and nearly 2 decades later our race engines have tripled that number. After a long and successful run we went back to the drawing board with ATI to exclusively develop the updated Version 2 2JZ crank damper.

This updated version has been designed with a higher inertia rate to compensate for today’s higher-revving, more powerful 2JZs as an all-around upgrade to the current damper. This new and improved unit functions equally as well on an OEM 2JZ to replace the factory unit which are prone to coming apart. Aesthetically the damper now features a durable hard anodized black finish with laser engraved 360-degree timing marks and logos making them much easier to read. We’ve also listened to our fans feedback and are happy to report this Version 2 damper has been designed to use the OEM length belt, no longer requiring a custom length belt.

Titan Motorsports Race Only 2JZ Billet Block

Titan Motorsports has been the industry leader in race 2JZ engines for over a decade. We started our 2JZ engine program in 2000 and immediately began to dominate the NHRA SC Street Tire class with our MKIV Supra, but we never could have imagined that same engine program would lead to breaking the 5 second barrier at over 250mph. Throughout our journey into the record books we’ve experienced our fair share of failures and our team has painstakingly developed solutions to these weak links in our quest to engineer the best 2JZ on the planet. The result of dedication to perfection and 2JZ drag racing supremacy has led us to this moment, the release of over a decade of development and what we consider the foundation for the ultimate race 2JZ, the Titan Motorsports Billet Race 2JZ Block.

Starting with our class leading factory iron block 2JZ race program, which already put out over 2,000HP, we partnered with Expert Racing in Brazil to develop the latest chapter of our renown engine program. With our collaboration, Experts team of engineers used advanced computer simulations to review weak points in the way the factory block dealt with the extreme loads being sent throughout its structure. This information allowed us to engineer the Titan Motorsports Billet 2JZ specific to our purpose, drag racing supremacy. Utilizing computer simulation to test multiple iterations and an additional 2 years of real world testing, we were able to create the final CNC produced block shown today.

The resulting block is stronger than the OEM Toyota version it replaces, and saves more than 50lbs in the process. For maximum bearing life, the 7 main caps were designed out of forged steel with cross bolted main caps designed to handle in excess of 4,000HP without sacrificing serviceability. The cylinders feature custom-designed Darton© sleeves consisting of extra thick walls meant to withstand extreme cylinder pressures while also allowing for a user configurable displacement up to 3.5 liters. All hardware has been produced by industry leader ARP, bespoke to this engine package, including 9/16” to 1/2″ custom head studs to the dual L19 main studs with cross bolt mains. We’ve also included an optimized Dry Sump Oil Pan, designed specifically for this block, to aid in oil scavenging and increased service life.

For over 15 years we’ve taken great pride in our racing accomplishments here at Titan Motorsports, pushing the limits of the 2JZ and helping cement its legendary status. This newly designed Titan Billet 2JZ has enabled us to raise our performance goals during the past 2 years and power many of the world’s quickest and fastest drag cars including EKanoo Racing, La Criatura Racing, Blue Destiny and many more. This block was designed as a race only unit with no water jackets or provisions included to allow additional mass in key areas for strength. At this time, we have no plans for production of a street version with these provisions as the factory unit has shown to be more than adequate. Confident we’ve produced the meanest 2JZ available on the planet today, confirmed by testing on the track and off, we’re happy to release this product to the rest of the world. We can’t wait to see how much further our customers can push the envelope in 2JZ drag racing.

Titan Motorsports R35 GTR Removable Parachute Mount

It doesn’t take much for a tuned Nissan GTR to trap over 150mph at the drag strip, unfortunately doing so requires a parachute on NHRA and other sanctioned tracks. Titan Motorsports has developed a removable parachute mount for the R35 Nissan GTR that allows the car to meet the requirements and be quickly removed for street use in less than 5 minutes with a single bolt. Designed in CAD before being laser cut and CNC bent, our removable chute mounts are manufactured from lightweight chromoly that is TIG welded in a custom built fixture.

The mount replaces the factory rear bumper support and utilizes the existing OEM support holes for secure mounting. Provisions have been incorporated in the chute mount to allow the existing foam bumper support to remain preventing the bumper from sagging. A CAD drawn cut template takes the guess work out of cutting the access hole allowing you to accurately measure and cut your OEM bumper to clear the chute mount. This hole is covered by the license plate for easy concealment when not in use.

Titan Motorsports 2JZ Billet Front Cover

The Titan Motorsports 2JZ billet front cover is CNC machined from 7071 aircraft grade aluminum for increased strength over the cast factory, alleviating common failures seen in our nearly 2 decades of racing. Using computer aided design we have increased material thickness and strengthened key areas of the cover for the increased stress loads applied to the tensioner and tensioner bracket preventing the timing belt from losing tension. This cover combined with our Titan Motorsports billet tensioner bracket and hydraulic tensioner delete provides for the ultimate combination to keep the engine in time and your valve train safe.

Do to the removal of the factory oil pump with this unit, it is designed for race use only on engines with external dry sump oiling systems only.

Titan Motorsports R35 GTR Billet Main Girdle

In starting with a clean slate for our VR38 engine program and developing our Titan Motorsports Billet VR38 block we came to the realization that many street cars would benefit from an upgraded lower billet main girdle. During our FEA analysis of the factory block our simulations revealed block distortion that could lead to main bearing failure and gasket failures.

A new lower girdle was designed using Computer Aided Design and analysis. The result is a product that strengthens key areas of the girdle while mating with the OEM casting, allowing the engine to withstand the abuse that the block endures while producing over 1,000hp more than the factory desired. This CAD engineered girdle is CNC manufactured from a solid block of 7075 aluminum alloy commonly found in the aerospace
industry. 7075 offers strength properties comparable to most steels while providing more corrosion resistance than some other aluminum alloys.

This billet girdle will require line boring to your engine builder’s specifications and will work with the factory 3.8L displacement or stroker applications. This design will be implemented in our upcoming VR38 billet block. Until then, anyone looking to build their own race prepped VR38 with premium parts can benefit from our experience while using the machine shop and engine builder of their choice.

Titan Motorsports ARP 2000 2JZ Crank Bolt Kit

Titan Motorsports has partnered with industry leading fastener manufacturer ARP to develop an upgraded crank bolt kit for the Toyota 2JZ engine. These upgraded units are manufactured using ARP 2000 material which offers a tensile strength of 220,000 PSI, over 45% stronger than the factory specified Grade 8 bolt. This increase in material strength is partnered with an oversized washer which is both thicker and larger in diameter to take advantage of the increased clamping load and to properly secure the damper to the crank over a larger surface area.

The additional clamp load delivered helps secure the harmonic damper to the crankshaft allowing it to function as designed, absorbing the unwanted kinetic energy caused by undesired movement of the crankshaft. This reduces the risk of the damper loosening from the crankshaft that can occur in racing environments where high RPMs are the norm. This bolt kit is designed to work with the OEM crank pulley, however we recommend it be paired with our Titan Motorsports Crank Damper to offer the ultimate in protection for your engine.

Titan Motorsports / T1 Race Development R35 Nissan GTR Flywheel Bolt Kit

Leading the path to big horsepower from the VR38, we’ve found many parts that aren’t up to the task of reliably delivering performance beyond Nissans original benchmarks. Upon a resent teardown we noticed some abnormal fretting of the flywheel in the areas where it mounts to the crankshaft. This particular failure can be seen when tearing down the engine, but it also could be the reason for the engine teardown. This fretting requires replacement of the crank and/or flywheel in most situations. It goes without saying, this is a very expensive repair.

A joint venture between T1 Race Development, ARP and Titan Motorsports resulted in a custom designed and manufactured fastener to better cope with the higher torque loads requested in our GTR applications. The new fasteners are produced In ARP’s 2000 material with a black oxide finish, and require a 12 point ½” socket for assembly. The ARP 2000 material has a much higher tensile strength of 220,000 PSI versus the stock bolts rating of 140,000 PSI. The increase in tensile strength allows us to administer a higher torque spec of 140ft/lbs. We also recommend applying Blue Loctite for added insurance, it’s important that the Loctite only gets on the threads of the bolt, and not between the flywheel and crank, or bolt head and flywheel.
