DCSS 39/50 High Performance In-Tank Fuel Pump

September 27th, 2011 Comments off

Titan Motorsports is now shipping the new in-tank Hi-Performance pump from TI Automotive (the maker of Walbro). This new pump (P/N: F90000262) has been rated at an astonishing 400LPH on 13.5 Volt at 40PSI, higher than any other in-tank turbine pump on the market. This pump has been designed on the OEM proven 39mm armature that has been used for years in many OEM applications, and currently in use today. This armature coupled with the dual channel single stage turbine impeller allows this pump to function in today’s high pressure injection fuel systems as well as function exceptionally well in hot fuel handling.

Please take note this pump is meant for modified vehicles with over 500HP, vehicles in which this pump is to be installed in should have upgraded supply and return fuel lines, upgraded pump wiring to support the increased amp draw, and upgrades to the vehicles fuel pressure regulator. This pump in NOT meant for use in a stock or lightly modified vehicle with less than 500HP, the use of this pump in that type of application will result in severe drivability issues and/or damage to the vehicle.

Aeromotive 340 LPH Fuel Pump

January 20th, 2011 Comments off

The Aeromotive 340 LPH is a high-output, in-tank, electric fuel pump that fits most popular EFI applications. The Aeromotive 340 is a compact, lightweight pump that bolts into most existing hanger assemblies. What sets the 340 LPH apart is its superior flow throughout a wide pressure range. Compared to a typical 255 at 40 psi, the 340 LPH boasts over 30% more flow. This pump is ideal for applications requiring more flow while retaining the factory wiring and mounting provisions available in the Original Equipment (O.E.) configuration. The 340 LPH is also ideal for use as a universal replacement for applications that require more flow to support forced air power adders such as turbo and supercharged applications.

Weldon Releases New A600-A Fuel Pump!

October 23rd, 2009 Comments off

Weldon has upgraded the A600-A flow-through continuous-duty fuel pump with -10 inlet and outlet ports and fitted it with revised end caps. Its bigger ports allow the pump to draw more fuel, to deliver more fuel, and to do this at reduced amperage draw. The former 600-A was equipped with a -8 inlet port and -6 outlet port and the end caps were gold. The new A600-A is distinguished by its black-colored end caps.

Product Features:

1) Designed for up to 600 to 700 horsepower (fuel injected) or 800 horsepower (carbureted)
2) At 42PSI (most common setting for EFI cars) the A600-A delivers more than 72GPH with minimal amperage draw (fewer than 5 amps)
3) Each pump is identified by its unique serial number and supplied with its own test chart
4) The pump element (ring, blades, and rotor) are of steel and are precision-lapped, like all moving components within the pump.
5) The 0-ringed housings are anodized 6061 hard-coated billet aluminum.
6) The outer skin of the A600-A is Weldon’s familiar Type 304 stainless steel with 6061 billet aluminum end caps.
7) With carbureted applications, the A600-A should be used in conjunction with a bypassing regulator (like Weldon’s A15 or A30) and a blocking regulator (Weldon A2046).
8) Weldon recommends the installation of two fuel filters: a 100-micron filter before the pump and a 10-micron filter after the pump.

Weldon Racing Pumps revs up fuel filter repertoire: Additional port sizes now available!

Regardless of origin, even the “cleanest” of fuels can harbor flotsam, the very reason that Weldon Racing recommends two separate filters to capture these contaminants before they reach the carburetor jets or fuel injection nozzles. It is standard practice to place a filter (coarse) after the fuel tank and before the fuel pump as well as another filter (fine) after the fuel pump to capture any remaining contaminants.

Product Features:

1) Three port configurations -12, -10, and -8 AN O-ring ports
2) Full radiused inlet cap to improve fuel flow within and around filter element
3) Stainless steel end caps for durability—not bare or anodized aluminum
4) Compact size: 5.250-inch length x 2.75-inch diameter x 13 oz.
5) Bright-dipped anodized for long-lasting finish
6) Minimal pressure drop
7) More than 60 square inches of premium filtering area
