After a highly successful inaugural season, the National Sport Compact Racing Association (NSCRA) is proud to crown its champions at the Florida 2010 Fast Expo at Broward Convention Center on January 10th, 2010. Opened to the public from 10:00am to 5:00pm, the Fast Expo encompasses everything automotive, speed and truck related. With over 100 vendors exhibiting, the Fast Expo will offer plenty to any and all automotive enthusiasts. The NSCRA will be holding their Championship presentation at this prestigious event at 2:00pm on January 10th, 2010 at the NSCRA booth. All racers and supporters of the NSCRA are invited to attend.

At this past weekend’s NSCRA event, we had the privilege of two gorgeous models assisting us at our booth. Halie and Amanda were greeting our fans and even competed in the bikini contest. Here are a few pictures of the Titan Girls.

Three months ago the owners of Titan Motorsports, Nero and Bottle Deliwala, had been challenged to make a showing at the NSCRA event at Palm Beach International Raceway. Twenty Eight days ago the challenge was accepted, and the final verdict was handed down: The Supra was to not only make a showing in the December 6th NSCRA final race of the year, but to make a statement. At that point we proceeded to call John Brown with the NSCRA, who was more than happy to hear the decision. The NSCRA committed to help in any way they could to get us there, and to make our NSCRA experience as seamless as possible. We can’t thank John or his organization enough for all the support they showed us, and for letting Titan Motorsports add another page to the import drag racing history books.

With the owners committed, the race organization in tune, and our tech being flown in, things were looking good, and we were on track to achieving our goal. Our goal was simple; beat our previous 7.71 record. But that was no easy task. We knew it couldn’t be done alone, and we knew we wouldn’t have to. Our sponsors really step up on this one, as always, and came through with the support and product we needed to achieve our goal. We arrived to the NSCRA event untested in our new setup, and our first run of the day had already matched our best 1/8th mile run to date. On the second run the car achieved an incredible benchmark in drag racing; a 4 second 1/8th mile run, but unfortunately the car shut off at the 1000ft mark. So we hoped the third run would be the charm, and it was. We ran an incredible 7.66@188.44mph, on a nitrous bottle that ran empty 1000ft into the run. Challenge accepted, statement made! Once again Titan Motorsports would like to thank the NSCRA for letting us be a part of their event, our sponsors, the crew, and the hundreds of fan’s that welcomed us back into the import scene with open arms. As many of you already know, Titan Motorsports will be making exhibition runs at the upcoming NSCRA event on December 6th. Titan Girls Halie and Amanda will be there talking to our fans, taking pictures, and participating in the bikini contest in hopes of becoming the next Miss NSCRA. We are still getting the Supra ready for NSCRA and things are coming along nicely. The guys have pulled a ton of old wiring out and have got a lot of the new wiring in the car.

New Strange brake setup has been installed.

We also recieved our new race head which will be going in very soon.

…The Supra is getting happier by the minute.

We have done a bit more work to the Supra over the past few days. We drained all the fluids from the car and scraped an unbelievable amount of rubber from the wheel wells.

Brett also took some more time to work on the wiring.

And Mickey Thompson sent us some fresh meats
