The Sport Compact Fall Nationals will take place this weekend, October 3rd & 4th, at Englishtown’s Raceway Park. Titan’s very own John Ferguson will be piloting the IPG Civic of James Innes at this weekend’s event.
After recent testing at Orlando Speedway, the engine had a little unexpected wear, and was torn down and rebuilt here at Titan, in preparation for this weekend’s race. In addition to some super-secret engine and turbo modifications, the civic also got a fresh face lift, with a new front bumper to match the flared fenders. The car now not only looks meaner, but sounds it too, and is ready to give the guys in the Outlaw FWD class a run for their money.
This past weekend, Titan Motorsports participated in the Fast Fours & Rotories Jamboree, at Willowbank Raceway, in Queensland Australia. We spent most of the weekend with our Australian allies, Gas Motorsports. Gas currently holds the record for fastest sport compact in Australia. This past Friday night, NASA’s 3rd attempt to launch mission STS-128 was a success. We were lucky enough to gain access to this event and actually had closer seats than even the press. The Discovery Space Shuttle is scheduled to dock with the International Space Station during its 13 day voyage. Here are a few pictures and a video of the launch. Enjoy.

Gas Motorsports will also be in attendance for those who want to get a glimpse of the former Titan Celica. The boys at Gas currently hold the record for Australia’s fastest sport compact drag car with an impressive 6.50 @ 217mph! J19 is shaping up to be the largest in the Jamboree’s 19 year history and Titan Motorsports is honored to be participating. We’ll see you at the races!

With our recent move, it’s unfortunately been a few months since we’ve been able to attend Cars and Cafe. The turnout was great as many automotive enthusiasts braved the 90+ degree heat to checkout the many great cars in attendance. Standouts included the new Alfa Romeo 8c brought out by Central Florida Ferrari, as well as a beautiful pro touring 67 Nova that fit right in the sea of exotics surrounding it.
Cars and Cafe takes place the last Saturday of each month from 9am-11am at Colonial TownPark in Lake Mary, FL.

On May 30th Titan Motorsports made the trip to Salinas Speedway in sunny Puerto Rico for the Super Street Shootout 3. We brought our 700 hp camo Porsche 996 as well as our world famous Copper Supra. We made 4 runs good runs with the Supra; two low 8 second passes, a 7.94, and our last pass we went 7.89 at 181 mph. We didn’t race in a class, as this was strictly exhibition. The race team had their hands full with the tremendous Caribbean heat, but despite this fact, they were still able to lay down the fastest times of the weekend. The event over all was fantastic and the fans and supporters where outstanding. Everyone was very excited to get a glimpse of the world’s fastest street Supra in action. Titan Motorsports would like to thank all those who made this event possible, especially Ronald, Omar, Raymond and all the wonderful fans and supporters at the event. We’ll see you at the races.
We are heading to Michigan! After being rained out at the ADRL Memphis Drags II, Team Titan will be continuing where we left off at the upcoming ADRL Summer Drags V. We will be going into third round eliminations against our long time rival Billy Glidden. Come out and enjoy the 2 for 1 battle as we look to finish the Memphis Drags II, as well as compete in the Summer Drags V in Martin Michigan.
